The Practical Education Network (PEN) is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with a focus on improving learning outcomes through capacity building of teachers. PEN makes use of locally available materials to train STEM teachers to teach STEM subjects in an MIT-style thereby making teaching and learning fun for students. PEN works in collaboration with GES in its dealings.

PEN has trained 10,000+ teachers, 100 local-level trainers, and more than a million students in this experimental approach over the past 5 years.
